Child/Youth Workshops & Camps

Catalyst Youth programs are for bright and curious children. They can get together with their peers and learn beyond what they are learning in school, explore more in-depth topics of their interest, and accelerate their learning in a fun and exciting way. Our center nurtures a development-oriented attitude by providing interactive, project-based, and stimulating study experiences.

Victoria Mondría is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). She brings over 8 years of experience providing Clinical Psychology Therapy and working in educational settings as both a University Professor and School Counsellor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and her thesis, “The Concept of Focus in Psychoanalytic Therapies,” explored how specific symptoms shape the dynamics of personality.

Victoria specializes in Emotional Intelligence, Mental Health Education, Trauma, Vocational Orientation, Cross-cultural Counselling, Anxiety, and Depression.

What sets Victoria apart is her psychodynamic approach to therapy, which views individuals as dynamic and ever-evolving rather than fixed or static. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and works alongside her clients to explore the roots of their challenges and promote lasting change. Gillian is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor Supervisor (CCC-S) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She has also served as President Elect, President, and Past President of the Counsellor Educators and Supervisors Chapter (CES Chapter) and is currently the Director of Counsellor Education with CCPA. She has a PhD in Curriculum Theory and Philosophy of Education, and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and over 28 years of experience in therapeutic settings, such as elementary and secondary school counselling, counsellor clinical supervision, and counsellor education at the graduate level. She works with all ages from children and youth to adults.
